Full, velvety, and harmonious tone
The main features of this guitar are the decorations.
As indicated by the label on the heel, the guitar is named Siena, a city to which it is inspired.
The soundhole decoration reproduces the arch on the main entrance door of Siena Cathedral, while the border decorations reproduce the mosaics of the Cathedral floors themselves, all hand-made in a mosaic execution.
The guitar is practically perfect.
Only notes to mention:
Photo 11: on the ebony edge at the top right a small scratch is glimpsed
Photo 15 and 16: since the white parts of the rosette are made of bone, in some areas these parts have started to yellow, as seen in the lower-left wedges. It is a natural process for bone and should not be considered a defect.
