This pair of glazed terracotta vases is a classic example of Sicilian Moor's Heads, handmade and hand-painted with decorations in the Caltagirone style. Entirely handcrafted with a finish predominantly ochre yellow and white. The Male Moor's Head depicts the male face with a dark mustache and a crown decorated in yellow. The Female Moor's Head depicts the female face with delicate features, necklace and crown decorated with the same yellow motif.
