Art Deco wooden Gustav Becker mantel clock with a mechanical 8-day movement, striking every half hour and on the hour, in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear.

Gustav Becker clock in a noble wooden case.
Clocks bearing the Gustav Becker brand are among the most valued and sought-after mechanical clocks in the world.
Gustav Eduard Becker was born on May 2, 1819, in Oleśnica.
After obtaining thorough watchmaking education in many prestigious European cities (Frankfurt on the Main, Vienna or Dresden), in 1847 he settled in Świebodzice (then Freiburg in Schlesien).
The beginnings of his clockmaking empire go back to 1847.
The factory won many international medals and awards.
The chest in the shape of a "Napoleon’s hat" is preserved in excellent condition without damage.
The dial behind a spherical glass is in good condition, though it shows signs of use and an old patina.
The signed mechanism is functional and running correctly, it strikes halves and hours nicely.
Key is included.
The clock comes from the 1920s–1930s.
Length 39 cm, height 22.5 cm, depth 14 cm,
dial diameter 16.5 cm.
Overall condition is very good, there are slight signs of use, no damage.
All details are shown in the photos.
It should be noted that after shipment every old clock may require adjustment and setting.
The mechanism may be jolted during shipping.
