Description from the seller
Large original political manifesto created for the French Communist Party (PCF) in July 1980.
Reserve price below 50 euros.
The composition denounces rising prices through the monumental image of a 100-franc banknote wrapped in flames, accompanied by the slogans “Hausse des prix” and “Ça suffit!”.
An authentic French political propaganda poster, characterized by immediate and aggressive visual language, a strong black-red-yellow color combination, and the large PCF logo at the bottom.
The exceptional format of 160 × 120 cm, typical of public posters, makes the manifesto particularly spectacular and decorative. An original document of French political communication from the early 1980s, of interest both to historic collectors and to vintage graphic design enthusiasts.
At the bottom the following are listed:
PCF – 2, place du Colonel-Fabien, 75019 Paris – July 1980 – Art Bagnolet
Details

Conditions
The manifesto shows pronounced original creases from storage, widespread creases and waviness of the paper. There are small holes and tears, some of which have been reinforced on the reverse with Japanese paper.
Visible stains on both front and back, as well as signs of dirt, yellowing, and marks of time along the edges and at the folds.
The manifesto retains vivid colors and a strong visual impact. The imperfections are consistent with the nature and original use of a real political poster intended for public display.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the conservation status.
Shipping
The manifesto will be carefully packaged in a rigid tube, with tracked and insured shipping.
