Model Sigrid was produced by Walther Glass in many colors. In the 1936 catalog this model is listed under no. 43840. The bowls offered here are in the transparent and rosé (rosaline) versions.
The Sigrid bowl has a slightly square shape with rounded corners. The four handles merge smoothly into four solid feet. Between them, in four segments, a concise herringbone motif. On the base, four squares progressively smaller. It’s beautiful how the rounded form of the bowl leads to the square foot.
Given the age there are unavoidable minimal usage scratches on both bowls. The handles are intact, on some feet small chippings are missing. Diameter of the bowls is 29 cm; at the handles 31 cm; height 6 to 7 cm.
