Classic Soviet textbook "Azbuka" (Alphabet), used in the schools of the Soviet Union for teaching the alphabet and the basics of reading to children.
Edition published in 1968 by the historic state publishing house Prosveshcheniye (Moscow), specialized in school manuals and teaching materials. The volume was produced under the supervision of prominent Soviet pedagogues and philologists, including A.l. Voskresenskaya, S.P. Redozubov and A.V. Yankovskaya.
The book is enriched with colorful illustrations typical of Soviet educational publishing, including the cover signed by artist I.G. Bryulin, which depicts a lively and symbolic childhood scene of the educational journey.
Today it represents an interesting example of USSR school publishing from the 1960s, sought after by collectors of vintage books, historical teaching materials and Soviet graphics.
