This is an exquisite leaf-shaped porcelain dish produced by Royal Copenhagen in Denmark. Manufactured between 1985 and 1991, the dish features a beautifully painted bouquet of tulips and assorted flowers against a textured beige background, with a rim decorated in a basket-weave pattern and gold gilding. One end of the dish incorporates a uniquely shaped handle, also accented with gold details.
A tiny firing mark (from the kiln support) is visible on the interior, and fine crazing is present in the glaze on the underside; both are characteristic features of the manufacturing process rather than damage or defects.
This piece is in near-perfect condition and is suitable for holding candies or small trinkets, or for display as part of a Royal Copenhagen porcelain collection.
