Description from the seller

A0000004540

The Waterman Le Man 200 fountain pen is in very good overall condition, standing out for its excellent aesthetic presence and proper functioning.
The body and cap, made in high-gloss black lacquer, preserve an elegant and deep appearance, with good uniformity in the finish. Subtle superficial micro-scratches related to careful use can be seen, with no cracks, fissures, or material loss, maintaining its structural integrity intact.
The gold-plated elements — clip, rings and finishes — are in good conservation condition, with present shine and without noticeable wear. Minimal signs of use can be observed in specific areas, in line with the piece’s age, but without affecting its overall aesthetics.
The nib is solid 18K gold and is in very good condition, properly aligned and without deformities. It retains its clear engraving “Waterman Ideal Paris 18K 750” and offers a clean overall appearance. The feed is in proper condition, ensuring a correct ink flow. The pen has been checked and is delivered fully functional and ready for writing.
The locking system works correctly, with a firm cap fit.
A Waterman original case is included, showing visible signs of use and exterior wear, such as scuffs on the corners and a deteriorated label, typical of the passage of time.
Overall, this is a piece in very good condition, ideal for both use and collection, preserving the classic character and the manufacturing quality of the Le Man line.

Conservation recommendations
For optimal maintenance, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically designed for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean the pen with lukewarm water if it is not used for a while, dry it completely before storing, and keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve its mechanics.

Happy bidding!
