This is an interesting large-format vintage photograph, about 24x34 cm, taken by the famous Sicilian photographer Calogero Cascio, during one of his famous reportage, this time from 1963 exploring South Vietnam, a reportage right in the crucial year of the great escalation of that war...
It represents a small settlement, a mini-village, near the city of Ca Mau, in the deep south of the country, about 250 km from Ho Chi Minh City, then, in 1963, Saigon.
This is a genuine vintage photograph, duly stamped on the back by Calogero Cascio himself, with also the stamp of a famous Italian magazine that published, in December 1963, this photograph.
