Up for auction is a nice full size violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Farotto Celestino allievo della zio Celeste fece in Milano l'anno 1927 Farotto Celestino. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The total length of the violin is 588 mm, body - 358 mm. Width of the upper bout: 169 mm; middle: 114 mm; lower: 207 mm. Straight high grained spruce top, one piece back of strongly flamed maple wood with matched sides and scroll with black stripes. Golden brown varnish with tears and wears. No cracks. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. The violin is ready to play with new bridge and strings. The sound is very deep, rich, mellow and powerful. Shipping worldwide.
