A Spanish modernist ceiling lantern from the 1960s to 1970s, made of metal with amber glass, measuring 24 by 24 by 36 cm and in good used condition while in working order.
Description from the seller
It's a modernist ceiling lamp from the second half of the 20th century, a piece that preserves that artisanal and decorative spirit inherited from Catalan modernism, where colored glass and metal worked together to create light with character. The metal framework, dark and cut into geometric and organic shapes, acts as an ornamental skeleton: lines that open up, cutouts that let light pass, and a design that blends functionality with a clear aesthetic intention.
The amber-colored crystals, arranged in faceted panels, provide the most emotional part of the piece. That warm, almost honeyed tone transforms the light into an intimate, enveloping glow, very typical of modernist lanterns reinterpreted in the 20th century. The relief of the crystals, with pressed decorative motifs, adds texture and depth, making the light not only illuminate but also draw shadows and reflections.
The whole, finished by the upper ring and the suspension point, maintains an elegant vertical silhouette, designed to preside over a foyer, a corridor, or an architectural nook. It is a piece that blends modernist tradition, glass craftsmanship, and 20th-century decorative design, perfect for those seeking lighting with soul and presence.
Certified shipping and careful packaging.
