Description from the seller

Golden Black Horse – Handmade Fused Glass Sculpture by Maciej Habrat

Some works of art capture movement. Others capture presence.

This majestic horse is a quiet expression of strength, dignity and imagination. Standing tall with effortless grace, it radiates confidence without demanding attention. There is no rush in its posture, no need to impress—its power lies in stillness, where elegance and character speak more profoundly than motion ever could.

The rich composition of deep black glass is illuminated by a striking tapestry of crimson and genuine 24-carat gold, reminiscent of royal textiles and timeless craftsmanship. Rather than merely decorating the surface, these luminous details become an integral part of the sculpture, transforming light into warmth and giving the horse an almost regal presence.

Handcrafted by Maciej Habrat, a Polish glass artist with more than twenty years of experience, the sculpture is created using the traditional kiln-fusing technique. Carefully layered opal glass is fused over many hours to achieve exceptional depth, subtle textures and remarkable luminosity. Every reflection changes with the surrounding light, making the artwork feel quietly alive throughout the day.

Minimalist in form yet rich in symbolism, this contemporary horse represents courage, freedom and inner strength. It is a sculpture that invites contemplation—a reminder that true confidence is calm, and true beauty never needs to announce itself.

Whether placed in a modern interior, an art collection or a thoughtfully designed living space, it becomes an unmistakable focal point, bringing sophistication, warmth and a sense of timeless elegance.
