T.T Patent - Ashtray - Ceramic

A rare, vintage-style ceramic ashtray, made in Japan during the Showa era, dating from approximately 1940 to 1960. These unusual pieces were primarily produced for export to Western markets.

The container is modeled as a complete skeletal torso, complete with a skull and a hinged, movable jaw. A vintage greyish-white glaze and tan antique shading are used to simulate skeletal texture. A unique collectible favored by rock, motorcycle, and dark aesthetic enthusiasts.

Marked on the base: Patent, T.T.
