Antique 8-string belly mandolin in fine woods—spruce, walnut/mahogany or similar?, colorfully contrasted with veneer around the soundhole, back with a belly-like shape without cracks, condition: front and back used and good—see the photos, they are part of the auction, age and signs of use present, inscription on the top—see the photos, visible in the photos, old strings are on it, should be replaced, deep and playable string action, country of origin Italy Venice/Naples, labeling inside with manufacturer *E.DE Christofaro Napoli Marca Depositata*, age 19th century around 1870, size about 63 cm long, about 21 cm wide and about 17 cm high with strings, total weight about 1500 g.
Accessories: 2 strike plates, case included free of charge, lid is loose.
