Montblanc - StarWalker Precious Resin NEW GENERATION - Pen

Here we present one of the most modern, evocative, and unmistakable writing instruments of Montblanc's recent production from the Hamburg maison: the Montblanc StarWalker Precious Resin Ballpoint Pen (New Generation).

The StarWalker collection represents the most contemporary and forward-looking soul of Montblanc. This specific model belongs to the "New Generation" (introduced from 2019), whose restyling was inspired by space aviation. The most fascinating and iconic detail of this series is indeed the magnificent translucent dome on the top of the cap: beneath the famous floating white star there is a blue resin dome, designed to evoke the emotions of astronauts admiring the Earth rising above the lunar horizon.

The pen body is made in traditional and precious deep black resin, mirror-polished. To create a sharp and modern visual and tactile contrast, the massive front section (the cone) is entirely platinum-plated and adorned with elegant concentric incised rings. The unmistakable clip with an architectural profile is also finely platinum-plated.

From a technical standpoint, we are looking at a convenient Ballpoint Pen. The ink flow from the tip is regulated by a reliable twist mechanism. As clearly shown by the photographs that document the tool assembled in its components (in particular the final photos of the joint), replacing the refill (using the classic Montblanc standard sliding refill for ballpoints) is simple and intuitive by unscrewing the heavy metal front section from the resin body.

The condition of the item is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The precious resin maintains a splendid luster and is structurally perfect, free of cracks or chips; only very slight and physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) are visible in transmitted light. The platinum plating is well preserved, highly polished and free of oxidation. The twist mechanism is smooth and flawless. To enhance the lot, the pen is offered accompanied by its original Montblanc box (which shows only slight signs of age on the inside).
