Description from the seller
Klaus Wagger: “Nürburgring 1956”.
Authorized color offset, produced premium matte (non-reflective) and with high color intensity.
Condition: the work is in excellent condition.
Publisher: authorized art publisher.
Format: 55 x 30 cm.
The artwork shows two red Maserati race cars in action at the Nürburgring circuit in 1956.
Klaus Wagger (born in Austria) was fascinated from a young age by the active motorsport scene in his surroundings. He studied Industrial Design and initially worked as a designer and technical illustrator for major brands such as Volkswagen, Ford and KTM.
Because he grew tired of millimeter-precise design drawings, he began painting more expressively in his free time. His big international breakthrough followed in the year 2000, when he won the prestigious poster design competition for the iconic Italian race Mille Miglia.
