Extraordinary, solid silver 950 cigarette case with double-sided hand engraving.
Master signed, circa 1900-1920

Condition: Antique with beautiful patina. Double-sided hand-engraved. Snap closure + hinge 100% OK

Both sides in traditional Japanese Sumi-e hand engraving.
Front: Mountain landscape with waterfall, pines, pagodas, etc.
Back: Mountain landscape + Master signature "Arimi Koku" = Engraved by Arimi

Because of the curvature the engraving appears three‑dimensional and captures light perfectly.
Typical for the Meiji/ Taisho era in Japan.
