Antique Umbertine mirror with two drawers, walnut veneer, made by Giuseppe & Figlio di Varedo (Milan), Italy, dating to 1850–1900, 97 cm high by 95 cm wide by 21 cm deep, internal 59 by 43 cm, weight 6.6 g, in excellent used condition with slight signs of wear and aging, retaining its original beveled glass and back label.

Original antique Umbertine wall mirror by Giuseppe & Figlio of Varedo (Milan), with molded glass and two drawers – An authentic piece of history.
Elegant and rare original Umbertine mirror dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, made by the furniture works Giuseppe & Figlio of Varedo (Milan), as documented by the precious original label still present on the back. Varedo, in the heart of Brianza’s furniture region, was already at that time an important center of Lombard cabinetmaking, renowned for the quality of its artisanal workmanship.
The mirror is distinguished by the refined architectural design typical of the Umbertine style, the splendid wood grain, the two original drawers, and its precious original molded glass, an element that today is increasingly rare and sought after by collectors.
Preserved in excellent overall condition with a beautiful vintage patina, it represents an authentic piece of Italian furniture history and of Brianza’s furniture tradition.
