A very beautiful and rare antique Chinese wooden lacquered lidded box. Decorated all around with Taoist immortal symbols. In the middle a Shou character, formed with lingzhi, symbolizing long life. Painted with gold paint. Very fine lacquerwork. Inside also lacquered. 18th century, Qianlong period. Collectible.
Condition: reasonably good condition
some signs of use, see photos
some cracks in the woodwork and lacquer, see photos
slight loss of lacquer, see photos
some wear to the lacquer, see photos
some parts may have been repainted, see photos with color lacquer deviations.
