Richard Keilwerth - - E♭clarinet - Germany - 1951

Impeccable luxury craftsmanship Requinto (E♭) as are all Keilwerth instruments, handmade and still being produced by the firm. From the mid-20th century. I have restored it completely with new assembly corks, and all leather paddings new. It should be noted that the leather ones are small balls that fit into the bore, and in higher notes or closer to the mouthpiece they are welcome, as they effectively seal any air leakage. The wood of the body, upper bore, and bell has no cracks or dents, only a small mark (see photos), insignificant. The keys are pristine with no wear, almost as if they were silver, since the ebony from this emblematic house (Keilwerth), Buffet, and Selmer, depending on the model, could be. It sounds bright and it is a pleasure to play, so soft and centered; splendid. I’m sending it in its original case. It’s in pretty good condition and appears original because it carries the external plate with the name of the Requinto. Good luck with the auction.
