Su caída tuvo lugar el 27 de junio de 1931 próximo a la ciudad de Tataouine, en Túnez. Está clasificado como una acondrita diogenita. Estudios sugieren que se formó en la corteza del asteroide Vesta.

Si composición es casi en su totalidad piroxeno y es rico en magnesio.
