Máté Nagy was born in Budapest in 1986. A Hungarian-born oil painter, he develops a refined language that blends Byzantine, Art Nouveau, and Oriental decoration. His works depict elegant, silent female figures, immersed in precious compositions of gold, deep blues, tactile textures, and ornamental details. In his paintings, the portrait becomes a contemporary icon suspended between beauty, spirituality, and ancient memory. Today he lives and works between Budapest and Venice.
