Description from the seller

Antique Bohemian 925 sterling silver garnet bracelet (40g) – Art Deco/Vintage circa 1930–1950!

Description:
For sale is a splendid, hefty silver bracelet from a Bohemian manufacturer, crafted in the late Art Deco period through the early postwar era (approx. 1930–1950).

The piece captivates with its extraordinary weight of 40 grams of solid silver and a kunstvoll floral design.

The centerpiece features a 2.0 cm rosette with a dark reddish-brown shining Almandine garnet (approx. 0.8 cm / 1.2–1.5 ct) in the antique rose-cut, accented at the edge by sparkling marcasites. On both sides, across three rows, there are 38 smaller, lighter orange-red garnets (hessonite/spessartite, each approx. 0.3 cm / total approx. 3.8 ct), also in the historic rose-cut and set in solid prongs.

Details & measurements:

Material:
925 sterling silver (stamped with “925” and two small rectangular marks)

Weight:
Massive, approx. 40 grams.

Dimensions:
Inner diameter 6.2 cm, yielding a comfortable inner circumference of exactly 19.5 cm.
Rosette centerpiece 2 cm wide
Elegantly rising bracelet width in the upper area from 0.9 mm to 1.2 cm.
In the lower area tapering from 0.8 mm to 0.5 mm.

Clasp:
High-quality, integrated box clasp with a fully functional safety latch.

Condition:
Beautiful, era-appropriate vintage condition with authentic patina. A tiny accompanying stone (Marcasite) at the central bloom is missing (slightly replaceable by the goldsmith) and barely noticeable. On the front silver surface there is a manufacturing casting flaw (pore/material crease) – a fascinating trace of the handcraft casting of the period, which does not affect stability in any way.
Unfortunately, it is too large for me, so I have decided to pass it on to Granat jewelry enthusiasts.
A truly solidly worked bracelet with a splendid brilliance in the garnet stones. A real eye-catcher guaranteed.

The photos show the real condition of the bracelet.

Shipping is insured and traceable.
