Whorl-spindles - Mali (No reserve price)

A collection of 40 very old whorl-spindles used in the spinning of cotton. Mostly these beads are found when digging in the ground. They are mostly of early 20th cent. origin, but could easily be older than that. Some scratching and wearing is visible, due to their very old age. Dim.; 20 to 35 mm. high. Collected in Mali in the late 1990`s.
