Description from the seller
Today we present an absolute icon of luxury writing: the prestigious Montblanc Meisterstück pen in its imposing and elegant LeGrand version. This writing instrument represents the ultimate expression of the maison’s craftsmanship and tradition, offering generous proportions that ensure a commanding grip and a writing experience with timeless charm, ideal for those who want to sign their successes with incomparable class.
The body and cap of the pen are masterfully crafted in the famous black Montblanc precious resin, a material that gives the object deep color intensity and a warm, silky tactile feel. To create a magnificent and classic contrast with the dark surface of the barrel, details and finishes in solid metal are enhanced by a bright yellow gold plating. The three iconic decorative bands, finely worked and positioned at the base of the cap, highlight the generous and sinuous shapes of the silhouette, endowing the entire instrument with a traditional and luxurious character.
The detail that seals this lot’s unmistakable identity is the classic elongated clip, elegantly plated in gold, which harmonizes perfectly with the pen’s substantial and stately design. At the rounded top of the cap proudly sits the famous pristine six-point star, a universal symbol of excellence and a depiction of Mont Blanc’s snow-capped peak, which adds a touch of light and immediate recognizability to this prestigious collectible piece.
Technically, the specimen is presented in its Roller configuration, designed to offer a fluid, precise, and flawless stroke. The images illustrating the piece dismantled into its main components testify to the total integrity of the internal structure and the maximum precision of the screw closures for the cap and the front nib tip, elements that constitute Montblanc’s indisputable hallmark of the highest and durable build quality. On the central ring of the cap are regularly and clearly engraved the official markers, guaranteeing the work’s absolute originality.
The conservational state of this masterpiece is to be considered excellent. The pen has clearly been kept and handled with great dedication: the black precious resin and the brilliant gold finishes are beautifully preserved, showing only microscopic and physiological superficial marks (hairlines) due to normal resting and natural friction of the glossy materials. These details are virtually invisible to the naked eye, and do not in any way diminish the majesty and perfect usability of the object. To add further prestige and value, the lot is offered with its original elegant presentation case signed Montblanc, ready to adorn the desk of a true connoisseur.
