Lamp - Art Deco. Adjustable desk lamp. Chrome metal.

Lamp from the Art Deco period around 1935-1940. Brass lamp with chrome plating, with on the waxed wooden base a cut-out plaque scene of a child being pinched by geese! The curved stem supports a Clichy glass shade in pink tones. No brand or signature visible on this lamp. In good condition, no breakage, chips, unusual scratches, or impact. An antique light fixture, in working order, but the push-button switch on the base is capricious and only works one time out of three! Electrified with a bayonet base socket (large base). Total height with the head lowered 25 cm, wooden base 14.8 cm x 7 cm. Scene with the kid 12.5 cm long. Tulip shade 10.5 cm high and up to 13 cm in diameter at its widest. Total weight a little over 0.6 kg. Still no delivery to the U.S.A.
