The pen is presented in very good overall condition, showing remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally.

The body in red marbled resin maintains excellent gloss and depth of color, with the characteristic veins well defined and no noticeable discolorations. Ligh t micro-scratches of surface wear are observed, typical of the passage of time and careful use, but without cracks, dents or structural defects. The black areas (butt cap and cap) likewise retain a good finish, with minimal signs of handling.

The gold elements — clip, rings and embellishments — are in very good condition, with uniform shine and no significant losses of plating, which enhances their visual appeal.

The 18K solid gold nib is in excellent condition, with no deformities or abnormal wear, maintaining proper alignment and smooth writing. The feed is clean and in optimal operating condition.

The filling system has been inspected and tested, functioning correctly, guaranteeing a reliable writing experience from the first use.

Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, fully functional and ready for use or collection, with light signs of use consistent with its age.

Conservation recommendations

It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens and to avoid pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the filling system gently to preserve its mechanics in the long term.
