Handcrafted workmanship
Old necklace made of hand-cut and hand-worked beads of lapis lazuli, carnelian, red coral, phenolic resin, and green/turquoise colored semiprecious stones (African turquoise? jasper?) with interspersed metal beads plated in silver of various shapes and sizes.
Cord tips made of silver, not hallmarked but acid-tested with a reference stone: the red trace indicates silver (see last photographic image, thank you).
Clasp made of silver-colored metal.
Contemporary stringing
Vintage patina.
In good condition, signs of use and age.
Oxidation spots and metal darkened by time.
