Original manifesto created for the exhibition "Antonio Ligabue – A Life of an Artist", held at Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara from October 31, 2020 to April 5, 2021.
The graphic reproduces one of Antonio Ligabue's most famous subjects, the spectacular Roaring Tiger, a symbolic image of his artistic production and the expressive force that made the painter one of the protagonists of Italian art in the twentieth century.
The exhibition, organized by Ferrara Arte in collaboration with the Municipality of Ferrara, the Gallerie d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Ferrara (GAMC) and the Fondazione Archivio Antonio Ligabue, retraced the artist's entire personal and artistic history through an important selection of paintings, sculptures, engravings and documents.
This is the original manifesto distributed for the occasion of the exhibition, printed in 2020 for the official promotion of the event.
For the iconic image chosen and for the quality of the printing, it today represents an interesting collectible item dedicated to Antonio Ligabue and to the posters of major Italian art exhibitions.
