Argor-Heraeus was founded in 1951 as Argor S.A. in Switzerland. In 1986, the company Argor merged with the German precious metals manufacturer Heraeus and with Commerzbank International Luxembourg. Thus the well-known corporate name “Argor-Heraeus” was created. In April 2017, the company was fully acquired by Heraeus.

On the front side of the gold bar is the name of the manufacturer, the manufacturer's symbol, the fineness “999.9”, the net weight “10 g”, and the serial number (the delivered serial number may differ from the image).

The dimensions of the gold bar are 31.50 x 18.50 x 1.00 mm and the shape is rectangular with rounded corners.

The struck Heraeus gold bars are delivered in a blister card and are thus well protected against scratches, dirt, or other damage.
