Waterman's Ideal No. 0552 ½ LEC – Gold Filled
Magnificent Waterman’s Ideal fountain pen, model 0552 ½ LEC (Linear Engraved Continuous), made in the U.S. around the 1920s. This specimen features an exquisite "Gold Filled" finish with a linear engraving pattern running along the body and cap, maintaining timeless shine and elegance.
• Technical details: Functional lever filler (Lever Filler) loading system. The body bears discreet period initials "M. E. C." engraved.
• Nib: 14kt solid gold, original Waterman nib, fine point, with the brand’s classic inscription and a notable flex capability.
• Condition: Excellent state of preservation for its age, with legible contrast marks on the finial and the iconic "Clip-Cap".
