* Limoges, France indicates it was made in the famous Limoges porcelain region.
* “Spécial Lave-vaisselle” is French for “Special Dishwasher Safe.” This marking became common from the 1970s onward, when manufacturers began producing decorations and glazes that could withstand dishwasher use.
