Antique Alembic / Copper Distiller with Hammered Copper, Patinated Bronze and Brass, and Coal Fire Brazier – Authentic Era Working Tool (approx. 1900–1910)
Rare and fascinating vintage alambic/distiller from the early 20th century, handcrafted in hand-hammered copper. This is not a modern reproduction, but an authentic historical working instrument, a testament to the distillation tradition of the period; in good condition, the object is solid, well-constructed, and shows the characteristic artisanal workmanship of the era.
The main boiler body, hand-hammered copper, has an elliptical shape with sturdy side handles, and is equipped with a lower drain tap in cast bronze with a natural patina. The neck is finished with a flanged brass/bronze nozzle, complete with its original removable pinnacled knob, turned on a lathe.
