Hieronymus Bosch: “The Last Judgment, 1482-1516”.
Authorized offset lithograph, produced with premium pearl mat satin.
Condition: the work is in excellent condition.
This work shows a detail from the triptych "The Last Judgment" by the artist Jheronimus Bosch.
The painting was probably created between 1482 and 1516 and is located in the collection of the Gemäldegalerie der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna.
The scene depicts the Biblical end of days, where souls are judged by Christ and led to heaven or hell.
This specific detail shows an angel with a sword in a sprawling landscape, a characteristic element in the fantastical and often grotesque style of Bosch.
The triptych is one of the artist’s best-known works and is often compared with other works from Flemish painting.
