Ewer (3) - Crystal

Triplet of liquor carafes/amphoras from the historic Buton Distillery (Bologna)
These carafes date mainly to the 1950s/60s. They were made by pairing the molded crystal body with metal finishes (gilded metal), historically produced in collaboration with prestigious names such as Argenterie Galbiati of Milan. The three shown models feature the characteristic tags hanging on a chain to indicate the liquor contained, among which are recognizable the Anfora Romagnola / Vecchia Romagna, the Crema Cacao Buton, and the Red Hills.
