We present an attractive Longines Conquest Quartz vintage, reference 4944 152, a piece that combines Swiss watchmaking tradition with the sporty aesthetic characteristic of the early quartz Conquest models.

The watch stands out immediately for its unique silvered textured dial, surrounded by a strong personality graduated metal bezel. The combination of steel, gray tones, luminescent material and a striking red central second hand creates a distinctly vintage sporty aesthetic.

At 3 o’clock there is a date window, perfectly integrated into the dial.

Inside we find a Longines caliber L152.2 quartz movement with 7 rubies, clearly signed by the manufacture. The reference is also confirmed by the inner engraving on the back case: LONGINES – SWISS MADE – 4944 – 152.

This, therefore, is a piece especially interesting for the collector seeking a vintage Longines with identifiable references both on the case and in the movement.
A dial with strong personality

When removing the case back, a movement signed: LONGINES L 152.2 and on the plate: UNADJUSTED SEVEN 7 JEWELS SWISS V8

Condition
The watch is in vintage condition, showing signs of use consistent with its age.
The case and bezel show small scratches, marks and superficial wear visible in the photographs. The bezel retains its numerals and dark markers well.
The dial maintains an overall attractive appearance. The luminescent material on indices and hands has taken on a cream tone typical of aging. I would not claim that the lume is original or that it retains active luminosity without prior verification.
The case back clearly shows the essential identifications of the piece.
The blue strap shows considerable wear, especially near the lugs, with material loss and edge deterioration. Therefore, for a luxury platform sale, I would recommend replacing it with a high-quality leather strap, but I would also keep and deliver this strap to the buyer.
