Beautiful Meissen porcelain plate, decorated with a richly detailed hand-painted chinoiserie scene.
The central decoration depicts a colourful tiger and a fantastical purple creature among flowering branches and floral motifs. The plate features vibrant blue, red, turquoise, yellow and purple colours, complemented by a delicate gilded rim and scalloped edge.
The reverse bears the characteristic Meissen crossed swords mark, together with
additional impressed/painted marks.
