Description:

An exceptional, authentic menorah (7-branch Jewish candlestick) made from solid, heavy brass in Sweden in the second half of the 20th century (1960s/70s).
The item is characterized by traditional temple-style design with a richly adorned architectural base in a hexagonal plan.
The body and arms are covered with precise reliefs featuring botanical and leafy motifs. On the bottom of the base there are original, clear factory markings:
Embossed inscription “MALM” (Swedish artisanal term for a high-quality, heavy alloy brass)
The inscription “JERUSALEM” indicating the historical inspiration of the motif

Condition:

The candlestick is in very good vintage condition, preserved in its original state. It has a natural, beautiful patina accumulated over decades, which gives it a noble character.
