Primarily composed of iron (92.6%) and nickel (6.7%). It is classified as a thick octahedrite. It originates from the core of an ancient asteroid that fragmented billions of years ago. It fell to Earth 4,500 years ago on the borders between Chaco and Santiago del Estero, in Argentina.
