Original manifesto created for the 1983 Fête de l’Humanité, the famous festival organized by the French daily L'Humanité, historically linked to the French communist movement.
The graphic design relies on a language that was extremely modern for the time: the large lettering "Hum An..." dominates the composition while a comic strip with the caption "C'est la fête de l'Huma" erupts into a shower of colorful confetti, evoking the popular and festive character of the event.
The dates 10-11 September 1983 and the venue of the manifestation, Parc Paysager de La Courneuve, on the outskirts of Paris, are also listed.
The ensemble yields a manifesto with a strong visual impact, representative of early 1980s French graphics, capable of uniting political communication and contemporary design.
