Scheurich 429-45 'Tundra' – large floor vase with handle – West Germany – 1970s
Description
Large vintage floor vase with handle by the well-known German ceramic manufacturer Scheurich, model 429-45, produced in West Germany.
The vase features the characteristic 'Tundra' décor in warm brown, ochre, and honey tones. Particularly distinctive are the four surrounding, plastically worked relief bands with geometric patterns as well as the large angular handle.
With a height of approximately 45 cm, it is an imposing piece that works excellently as a floor vase or decorative vintage object.
Particularly noteworthy is the still-present original Scheurich sticker on the front.
On the bottom are the impressed model designation 429-45 and the origin marking W. GERMANY.
