Two works: “Kußversteck – Video Kuß” and “Auto – Individualverkehr – Unfall”
Pencil drawing and mixed media on sturdy drawing paper, 1987/88
Two works by the Berlin artist Thomas Lange are offered. Both sheets originate from the years 1987/88 and combine fine pencil drawing with painterly or collagelike elements of mixed media.
The first work is titled “Kußversteck – Video Kuß.” On the front, there is a drawing-like, scenographic composition with a hinted screen or video device and two heads. According to the label on the reverse, another, fully worked and titled drawing on the subject is located verso.
