Description from the seller

Splendid vintage vase in Murano art glass, original from the 1960s, made with the celebrated Sommerso glass technique. The design is attributed to the C.O.V.E.M. (Vetreria Artistica) manufactory, an icon of Italian mid-century modernism.

The piece stands out for a central core of deep ruby red, wrapped by elegant concentric layers of emerald green and amber yellow, all enclosed in a massive block of transparent glass.

The upper edge is shaped like a beak or petal, lending dynamism and sinuosity to the structure, which appears solid, heavy, and of great visual impact.
