Grand English Vintage Dinnerware Service in Red (41 pieces) - Staffordshire / Enoch Wedgwood / Barratts / Myott
Magnificent vintage English earthenware/ironstone dinnerware set in red transferprint depicting castle scenes, countryside landscapes and floral motifs. A very elegant and harmonious mixed lot bringing together major British manufacturers (Staffordshire, Enoch Wedgwood Woodland, Barratts "Elizabethan", Myott "Royal Mail", J.G. Meakin "Merrie England", English Ironstone "Four Seasons", Unicorn Tableware, and Société Céramique Maastricht).
The lot comprises 41 pieces:
Service pieces & Jugs:
• 1 Tall teapot / coffee pot (Enoch Wedgwood "Woodland") (note: old lid with repair, see photo)
• 1 Square-shaped teapot / coffee pot
• 1 Classic teapot
• 1 Sauce tureen with adjacent serving dish / lid stand
• 2 Milk pots / creamers (including 1 Enoch Wedgwood Woodland)
• 1 Large oval service platter / display stand with landscape motif

• 6 Deep plates / rimmed bowls Barratts "Elizabethan"
• 1 Flat plate Myott "Royal Mail"

Condition:
Very good overall used condition for vintage pieces (nice shine, very clear patterns). Note: the lid of the large teapot has been repaired (visible crack but solid). Light natural glaze crazing on the undersides on some pieces, testimony to their authenticity.
