Small Vintage Workbench Anvil in Cast Iron/Steel (2 kg) – South-German Style with Double Horn
Fascinating and sturdy vintage desktop anvil, featuring a classic double-horn configuration (one conical and one pyramidal), typical of the Mitteleuropean craft tradition. On the side the raised numerical mark "2" is clearly visible, indicating a nominal weight of about 2 kilograms, making it a perfect piece both as a practical benchtop tool (for precision work such as clockmaking, jewelry, or modeling) and as an original industrial decorative object. The piece retains a beautiful patina of age, enriched by traces of old blue paint on the base that enhance its vintage character and history. The top plate includes the characteristic square hole (Hardy Hole) for holding tools.
