WMF / Geislingen - Stem bowl - Silverplated, Brass

An antique silver-plated stem bowl produced by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in Germany, dated 1896.

The piece is executed in the Historicism style, with classic Neo-Renaissance design elements.

The bowl features two cast handles decorated with medallion relief portraits of female heads. The outer rim is decorated with detailed foliate motif engraving, and the center display has a matching pattern.
It stands on a stepped, rounded pedestal base stamped with W.MF.M., indicating a brass base with silver plating.
The inner rim is engraved with a personal dedication dated 1896.

Condition:
The bowl is structurally sound. There is light wear to the silver plating and minor surface wear in the form of small scratches. One handle shows a light oxidation mark, which is minor and shown in the photos. Looks very nice overall.
