Coat rack - Wood, Aluminium - wall coat rack

A beautiful example of functional mid-century design from the 1960s. This elegant wall coat rack combines a warm wooden back panel with three sculptural aluminum hooks. The flowing, organic shape of the hooks gives the piece an almost architectural look and is typical of the optimistic design of the postwar period.

The coat rack is equipped with three generous double hooks, providing ample space for coats, hats, bags and accessories. The combination of light wood and polished aluminum was particularly popular in the 1960s and was widely used in Scandinavian and Dutch interiors, where functionality and clean design went hand in hand.
