Mimmo Rotella (Catanzaro, 1918 – Milan, 2006)

Etching and color aquatint on paper.
Edition 13/50, part of a limited edition of 50 copies.
Hand-signed by the artist at the bottom, with the edition number also noted in the lower margin.
Sheet size: 65 × 50 cm.
The work is accompanied by a provenance and authenticity certificate issued by the Auction House.
The piece is overall in good condition, compatible with its age. There are light, localized moisture traces on the paper, visible in the detailed photographs and not compromising the overall legibility of the work.
The graphic work belongs to Rotella’s production in the 1970s, a central period in the artist’s ongoing experimentation with the relationship between image, sign, and contemporary visual culture.
The work will be packed with particular care and shipped with a trackable service.
