Description from the seller
Richly decorated two-armed candlestick in bronze and brass – baroque/rococo revival – circa 1900–1930 – 3.0 kg
An impressive, heavily worked three-armed candlestick in an elegant baroque/rococo revival style, made from a combination of bronze and brass. The piece displays a wealth of ornamentation: graceful acanthus leaves, curling arms, a profiled stem and a finely detailed finial.
The core is finished in dark patinated material, which forms a beautiful contrast with the warm-golden sheen of the bronze and brass. The candlestick has a solid base with concentric rings and a total weight of 3016 grams, underscoring its quality and stability.
With a width of approx. 27 cm and a generous height (visually estimated at 40 cm), this is a decorative statement piece that suits both classic and eclective interiors.
