Sculpture, MERCURY - 41 cm - Bronze, Marble

Impressive mythological statue in polished bronze named 'mercury' (Hermes), which depicts the messenger of the gods.
Set on a cylindrical pedestal of black marble.
Very beautifully detailed and classy statue, measuring 41 cm tall.
The original statue is kept in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence.
A 17th‑century model in the collection of the Duke of Brissac was kept around the 20th century in the Louvre in Paris.

Dimensions: Height 41 cm, base diameter 14 cm.
Signed and stamped with the authenticity mark from the bronze foundry.
